Of course, since our children are the first generation to have a life span shorter than their parents, I'm not sure not being military material should be our biggest concern right now.
Yesterday, D, for school had to bring in 4 food labels. He said he was the ONLY one to bring in anything remotely healthy. Mind you, he brought in healthier 'junk foods'. But still he said he kind of felt like a freak, but in a good way.
So, you know what, if we are going to expect/demand change country-wide for our school lunch programs, we darn well better be looking in our own cupboards as well!
