Fish Fry!

A while back, the kids decided they wanted a fish fry. I've never done that before, but thought, how hard can it be? Well, its easy! I grabbed some mahi mahi & cod from the grocery store and whipped up Alton Brown's delicious beer batter. I used Guinness since its all we had-its what Brian drinks.
 A combination of canola & coconut oils heated to 350 deg.
 BabyGirl dredging in flour (instead of the corn meal he calls for)
   Fry till golden brown.
The result was a perfectly cooked fillet with a crispy batter outside.

Now that I know how easy it is, I plan on making them again soon. With some fries on the side and maybe some coleslaw-its a really great meal.
