Over the past year, we've asked our Farm Friends to speak out against the approval of Genetically Engineered foods. Despite our combined efforts, Roundup Ready® alfalfa was deregulated without restrictions, and there are more new GMOs slated for approval. We are profoundly disappointed, and will continue to speak out and to support legal challenges to the USDA decisions. Today, MSNBC is polling readers on whether or not they think genetically modified foods should be labeled. Please vote. Help get the word out that we have the right to know what's in our food.

The Genetically Engineered Food Right to Know Act would require mandatory labeling of all GE foods; The Genetically Engineered Food Safety Act would require mandatory, pre-market safety testing of GE foods. Write your Senators and Representative and encourage them to support these important bills!
