I am no Florence Nightingale. Believe me. I am more like "Tina helps those who help themselves". Did you know you can die from pancreatitis? I didn't. Now I do. But he didn't, so geesh, let's move on ok? Brian currently outweighs me by 22 pounds. He's 6'3. I'm 5'7 1/2-yes the 1/2 counts. See the problem? I need Brian to bulk up and get better! How do you 'healthify' someone that dislikes vegetables & lives on crappy sugary cereals? His mother made him some chicken noodle soup right before Thanksgiving. Well, I use the term soup loosely. I call it greasy meat water. It was lots of shredded chicken with a hint of celery somewhere in there. Where were the carrots? The onions? The peas?? The noodles came separate which is a fine idea, except it was the day before Thanksgiving and how much room do you think I had in my fridges? So I dumped in some carrots and added the noddles & a ton more water. Better. Anyway...
"The Wellness Warrior" is stumped, my friends. What kind of warrior am I if I can't even heal my sickly husband? I may have to hang up my battle gear and hang my head in shame. Is this it for me? Do I leave defeated? Not yet! I'm not pulling out the white flag just yet!
I will stuff him with smoothies that have much less spinach than I would like, but it WILL be in there! I will cook him up veggies and he WILL eat them! If I have to, I will hide veggies in his food! I'm kind of out of ideas at this point, so I need to do some research. How do you make someone gain weight-the healthy way? Ugh, to have such problems, I know! Actually I have someone in mind who recently needed to gain weight, so I really hope she can help me! I don't really know her personally, but I'm gonna beg!
That's all for now. I'm totally and completely over fall & Thanksgiving and will be packing it all up today. I need the Christmas spirit to grab me & not let go for the rest of this year!
Thanksgiving recap coming soon-than its nothin' but Christmas, folks!
