So excited about the long weekend-I hope you're off too, wherever you are! To start it off, pita pizzas & Family Movie Night! We're finally back to this. I was just telling Heather about it. It took a few weeks to settle in with school & all, but we are back! Our pizza selections? Plain cheese & pesto tomato. Mmmm. I bet you can guess which was mine!
Actually I was planning a buffalo chik'n pita pizza, but somehow a whole package of pitas went missing! Hmmm. I hate when that happens.
Saturday, Brian & I headed out to do some shopping-it was a beautiful sunshiney day!
The weather was still so nice when we came home-we decided to cookout with my SIL, D's new girlfriend and one of Brian's friends. BIL was under the weather and couldn't make it sadly. Lots of good food-no pictures though. I made a great salad I wanted to try out for the Thanksgiving menu. Its a winner! I have a soup to try too at some point. I think I've got some time. I'm already planning my menu of course. Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday! I cannot wait to share it with you!
Coming up today? Pumpkin Day! Every year, my uncle & his wife throw a huge party at their sprawling property. There are hay rides, pumpkin picking, a pinata & of course tons of food! They even grow pumpkins on the property. My kids just LOVE it! My sister usually goes too, but she's out of town this year, sadly. We'll have to have enough fun for her as well.
