Are you asking yourself, isn't this supposed to be a healthy living blog? Well, yes. And I am a huge believer in balancing it all out. I eat pretty well, exercise & use non-toxic skincare & makeup. I also think life is very, very short. I've lost 3 classmates under the age of 40 in the past few weeks. Both of my parents died before they were 60. The fact that I am going to be 38 this year shocks me. Life is flying by & I want to enjoy as much as possible. And if that means 2 days of drinking like its my job and hanging out with the unwashed masses-so be it. This is it my friends-you only get one go round-make it fantastic!
Ok, Saturday was not the best night of sleep-we slept in a king size bed which I thought would be big enough, I was wrong. We both sleep diagonally. So I got kicked all night long. Anyway, Sunday we woke up and had a plan. The lineup was perfect-the first band we wanted to see was Theory of a Deadman. A couple of years ago my sister took me for my birthday to see them with Seether. (We also ate at Vegiterranean. Seether is really good-they have great songs and I love the singer's voice. If you think you don't know who they are-this is them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPC2Fp7IT7o He also sings this solo. He was so grateful and humbled being at the concert-it made me like him even more! Just Youtube any of their songs, you might love them just as much as I do. They also remade Careless Whispers & said on stage its probably the gayest thing they've ever done-too funny.
And my favorite Theory of Deadman song-I Hate My Life-hilarious! NSFW.

OK-moving on-FINALLY!
Sunday morning downtown Columbus was a ghost town. First order of business-find Target and buy real shoes. Janet also needed shorts. Some girls wear miniskirts, but we realized that wasn't a great idea. Just ask how many gal's underwear we saw. Oh and lots of boobs, but that was intentional obviously. Also, you should not be dry-humping at a concert in the middle of the day. You just shouldn't. Ok, moving on.
So, we got our shoes & shorts and whatnot and came back to fuel up.
Our ticket stubs had BOGO subs from Subway, so that was the plan for food. One Subway was closed, but a nice homeless man told us where another one was. We each got chips & a foot long sub. We stuffed them down, knowing this was it for food for a long time. And off we went.
We got there in time to get our drinks & pick our spot for Theory of a Deadman. Unfortunately the singer had some sort of issue and could barely sing. That's ok, the crowd did it for him.
Wanna see the crowd surfing & mosh pits from above? Somebody in the stands took this video. This is during Rise Against. My & sister & I are in there somewhere!
Rob Zombie was rockin' as you would imagine. He was kind enough to give all the ladies time to get up on their guy's shoulders before it really got going.
And lastly, Limp Bizkit was SO fun!
And right before bed.
The next day before we left Columbus, we stopped at Easton for lunch. Why don't we have Cosi up here?
Tomato, mozzarella & basil panini with some wasabi-like vinaigrette. Delicious! Oh and the raspberry lemonade was so good!

I'm already thinking about next year-CANNOT WAIT!
See you all later for hopefully some a normal post.
