Farmers Market-Take 2!
Don't I talk about anything else besides Farmers Markets lately? Not really! I am SO excited that the markets are opening again! Even better, today I found out that the Market I visited today is open year round! Its indoors until June & then they move to the parking lot next door. Can't wait for that-I hear it gets much bigger. But today, let me share my purchases. I have to tell you, I forgot to get cash-I had $3 in my wallet. Thank goodness the kind ladies at Lake Erie Creamery took my check! Oh goat cheese, how I love thee! I bought 3 different kinds. A traditional chevre, a feta & one called Caerphilly-which is like a parmesan with its tang & texture. I can't wait to try on pasta tonight! Speaking of pasta, I wanted to get some fresh from my friend, John who was selling for Ohio City Pasta. Unfortunately, he could not take my check, so no fresh pasta for me. Next time. They are at the Crocker Park market too. I stopped by a stand that had so many different items. I spent my $3 on fresh garlic rosemary ciabatta rolls. Those will be served with dinner as well. I chatted with the gentleman for a bit & he told me all about his garden in Tremont & all of his other works. He is a busy guy! I was very impressed with him. And not just because her threw in some garlic onions for my dinner. Click here to learn more about him! I just signed up to become a member.
