Blogger dinner, the forgotten protein & more...

I always forget how awesome eggs are for dinner. Bubba's favorite dinner night is Thursday which is usually Breakfast for dinner. After easter we had lots of leftovers, so I whipped them all up into a "Spring Scramble". I know, I'm a dork, but honestly I love to name things!

This is the finished meal for them.

And this is mine, sans ham & yolks. I like just the whites sometimes! MMM, I love asparagus!

Now, the Blogger Dinner. Allison did a great recap-her's is better-go there. This was my first, me being the new kid & all. And by kid I mean the old lady at the table-haha. All of the girls were great. I enjoyed meeting them all. I only wish I could have talked more to some of them! But I hadn't been out in a while, so I thought I should make up for lost time with Mr. Rum & Mr. Tequila. Then I remembered-they are NOT my friends & quite possibly are trying to kill me!

Also, I find it hilarious that at least a few of the gals said that people in 'their real life' don't read or have no idea about their blog. I have to say I have only told a few people (on purpose). Most of them don't understand. My husband doesn't even read it! Its like a whole other world out there!

Finally, a big thanks to Allison for coordinating, Johnny Mango's & our server, Matt for putting up with us. Oh and the bartender with the beautiful owl tattoo who makes a mean margarita!
