Summer is officially here according the calendar. But we all know it really starts as soon as school is over! We are slowly getting into the swing of things.
We've been relaxing.
And sleeping on the new couch bed!
Did you have a couch bed growing up? My grandparents did & it was pretty much the greatest thing ever! We recently bought one & I have missed it. BabyGirl & I lounge on it whenever possible. Mostly to watch the Next Food Network Star & MasterChef whilst eating Popsicles.
We celebrated Father's Day up at the lake. It was mellow-just the way Brian likes it!
Bubba lost another tooth. Maybe the last one?
D has a job finally. He's doing landscaping & is doing very well.
BabyGirl is just kind of existing. Like me.
I have been getting back into cooking. My family is grateful, I think.
And I think that I'm changing a bit style wise. Does everyone else do that? I feel more like sleeveless, flowy, paper thin button downs are the way to go this summer.
In other news, my ankle is slowly getting better. But the 4th person I know just sprained his ankle. 4! Before this little streak I'd never really known anyone to do it. Weird, right?
Anyway, there are some carnivals & island trips to come. I hope to get to Cedar Point, but more late summer so its a bit cooler.
