I don't believe I have ever eaten so much in my life! The past couple of weeks have been all food & fun for me. My belly certainly shows it! But that's ok, I'll be "resetting" soon I hope. Just as soon as the out of town guests leave and my sister's 30th birthday week-long celebration is over! *Sigh*
Regardless, I am very thankful for yoga pants and long sweaters!
Fondue is an appropriate dinner, right?
Christmas Eve we went to my sister's. With her two boxers, Boo (left) & Bella (right)
They love my kids & vice versa!
Nice face, Bubba. Geez. That's my sister's boyfriend, Devin.
Christmas Day was all about the food (for me anyway)
Poached salmon with dill sauce, lemon, red onions & capers
I tried to fit all the food into the picture-no such luck!
How beautiful is the dried fruit tray? I'd like to take credit, but its from Costco.
Anti-pasta platter with fresh marinated mozzarella, beef sticks, hot sopressata, roasted red peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, cheese twists
Cheeses-sharp cheddar, colby jack, muenster
Veggie tray with (fat free greek yogurt) ranch dip & hummus-you can barely see it, but its there.
Pumpkin roll that my MIL brought
Cheesecake apple cobbler squares
This is the chocolate walnut torte that Jenna had on her blog.
Brownie Lollipops. Costco again. Holy cow, these are amazing!
French onion soup. I almost forgot to take a picture, so its almost gone! It rave reviews! Let me know if you want the recipe-its really easy!
Broccoli Mac & Cheese
Beef tenderloin (sandwiches) with mustard horseradish sauce (sorry, no camera skills here)
Roasted potatoes
And because we didn't indulge nearly enough, Brian whipped up egg nog milkshakes. Truly a great finish!
I hope your holiday was as wonderful & Santa brought you everything you wished for!
