As it turns out, I decided against going to the store & using the shrimp I had in the freezer. I sauteed them in olive oil & TrueLime. And while the shrimp wasn't very flavorful in the taco, it made a decent filling & I was satisfied. I made more cilantro-lime cream and sauteed the tortillas instead of grilling. I still had plenty of cabbage leftover. It turned out pretty good. The rest of the family filled theirs with the leftover beef. They thought they were 'just ok'.
(sorry its kind of a dark picture)
So we busted into the cool foreign snacks I bought at Jasmine Bakery. What were they?
Cookies to dip into frosting!
How interesting are these cookies? They make no sense to me at all.

MMM-chocolate frosting. D and I shared and there was way too much cookie to frosting ratio.

My poor rain-soaked boy.
