Its the weekend!

TGIF indeed! So many fun events this weekend! The Rocky River Greek Festival is a MUST! I can't wait to sample all the food, although gyros aren't exactly vegetarian, so I'm kind of sad about that! Gyros are one of my very favorite foods. I used to eat them a lot when I was young after a long night out, if you know what I mean. Of course Sunday is Father's Day and I plan on making one of Brian's favorite meals & possible having my FIL over for dinner. It makes me miss my dad a lot.

And the very best part of this weekend-Toy Story 3 opens today!

You might not be excited, but my whole family is-D included! D (and Brian & I) has been a Toy Story fan since the beginning. We still quote lines from it! The first one came out in 1995 and as someone said, your child that was 6 and so excited at the first one can now drive you to this one and take you out for a beer afterwards. I almost cried! D was only 1 when the first one came out, so we're not quite ready for that beer, but he could drive us-if he would go take the test! He was 5 when the second one came out and he dressed as Woody for Halloween & the neighbor girl dressed as Jesse. Now Andy is going to college and D is not far behind. I may cry at this kids movie! Wouldn't be the first time-did you see 'Up'. Geez. Anyway, thanks for bearing with me for this trip down memory lane!
