Farms & Freezers

After work, BabyGirl & I set out for the farm stand I usually visit. But on the way, I saw this one and decided to stop here instead. I'm so glad I did! Its all organic and much closer to my house.

Our purchase, minus the peach BabyGirl needed to eat immediately. It was kind of late in the day, so the pickings were slim.
This was to be dinner. I pulled a frozen freezer bag out this morning to thaw. I still have no idea what it was. I vaguely remember making it. I think it was from the 30 days I was vegan.
There wasn't much left, so as usual, I needed to stretch it.
Leftovers from the fridge.
Before the bowties.
Instead of draining them in the sink, I wanted to keep a little of the starchy cooking water to help thin out the sauce a bit and melt the parmesan into it.
My plate.
This meal was delicious and so fun. And when the kids asked me what was for dinner, I could say I don't know and really mean it!

On a totally different topic, I realized this little Sherpani (click the icon on the right to check them out) pouch that came with one of my purses fits my camera perfectly! How's that for reusing and saving money?! By now you know its the little things that make me happy!

Have a great night!
