Movie Night!

For us, Friday night is  family movie night! We get all snuggly in pajamas & blankets & dim the lights. I usually make something fun the kids like for dinner. Pita pizzas is a huge favorite with everyone. They're easy & I love how crispy the edges of the pita gets.

I like Aladdin's pitas-they're made in Cleveland!
I spray the pitas on both sides with olive oil spray from Trader Joe's.
Then I spread with sauce, usually spaghetti sauce-whatever I have.
I happen to think that oregano makes spaghetti sauce taste more pizza-like, so I sprinkle gernerously. Oh and oregano is good for you!
All the pizzas ready for baking. Sometimes I buy extra toppings, pepperoni, mushrooms, but they like them plain, too. I always have a jar of banana peppers in the fridge for the adults.
Bake in a preheated oven (425) until cheese is melted & the edges are crispy. Usually 12-15 minutes. But watch them!
That's it. Oh I dropped the pizza cutter on my foot & thought I cut my toe off! But its still there-no blood. I may have overreacted a little.
